Insulation regulations in the UK are intended to ensure that our homes are energy efficient and conserve fuel and power. These regulations include setting U-values for new and existing buildings. As insulation can be applied to many areas of our homes, it is inevitable that different regulations will interact.
Following the Grenfell Tower fire, the government made changes to building regulations and supporting guidance for high-rise buildings, which this site does not cover.

The insulation we use to improve our homes comes in different forms and installed in many ways, so most of the regulations need to be adhered to in one form or another.
